Breathwork + Soundbath

  • Kushala Yoga 3032 Saint Johns Street Port Moody, BC, V3H 2C5 Canada (map)

This 2 hour guided breathwork + soundbath meditation is an invitation to let go of old patterns of control and tension, so that we can align with our truth, our integrity, and our most empowered selves.

One of the most powerful benefits of a breathwork meditation, with the additional of a soundbath, is that it brings us back into our most centered, and aligned selves. Our breath is a powerful connector back to inner alignment, where we can access all of the wisdom and clarity needed for most empowered path forward.

What to expect from this breathwork soundbath meditation:

  • This time is 100% for you, to land in your body and explore the ways your breath with sound, can help you to re-align to your own internal wisdom, guidance and clarity.

  • We'll be in a quiet space, and you'll be led through a guided breathwork meditation, followed by a multi-instrumental sound healing lasting approximately 90 minutes, with time to rest at the end.

  • The style of breathwork we offer is called circular breathing. We'll connect the inhale with the exhale, breathing through an open mouth the entire time.

  • We'll demonstrate the technique and guide you through the experience.

  • We offer continuous hands-on facilitation throughout the session, to all who want it.

  • If there's anything coming up in your life that you'd like support around, emotionally or otherwise, please consider any intentions you'd like to bring to the session as it can be extra potent to bring an intention. And then see where your own body and spirit guides you.

  • Every group brings a unique energy and experience. When we gather in community, we become witnesses to one another's highest possibilities.

Protocols

  • Try not to eat a big meal right beforehand or drink caffeine. Highly recommend no alcohol for 24 hours before.

  • Wear comfy clothes and layers. People tend to get either cold or really warm up during the practice.

  • Bring a pillow, blanket, water bottle, yoga mat and journal.

  • More information on the breathwork Monica offers can be found in this article.
