Here is an offering in response to questions on protocol when microdosing psilocybin mushrooms.

There are many protocols out there which I go will into more detail about further in this blog. For me personally I prefer to microdose intuitively. That means a lower than average dose (mini-micro) one day every few months, then maybe not for many months, then maybe 2 days in a row. I prefer to plan out an Intentional microdosing day and have had great results as far as having a day of deep self-care, creativity, or completing challenging projects.

There are benefits to having a regular protocol depending on your reasons for microdosing, so ideally you’ll need to find what’s best in relationship to your reasons.

Every person needs to find their own way but I really believe the way to go is as mindfully and consciously as possible rather than trying it cause it’s trendy.

When starting microdosing, treat it as an experiment and pick a protocol, choose a length of time like 2 weeks or a month, and document your experience methodically.

Track how much (start smaller than you think), how often, set, setting, intention, goals, experience, integration and change. Then when you get to the end sit down and look through the data you’ve collected.

Microdosing can be amazing for creating change but it takes focus and work. Personally, I don’t want to be in a position where I’m turning outside of myself for help to the point of dependency.

Like any medication, I want to receive the help, integrate it, and then transform myself so I’m not dependent.

In the next article I’ve given suggestions on who should NOT microdose simply because right now it’s trendy and it can look like its great for everyone but I don’t agree. Yes, it makes me unpopular or uncool - and that’s cool.
