FAQs

What will I need for the Apprenticeship?

Here’s what you’ll need to gather for yourself. A space where you are undisturbed and you have the option of either sitting up or laying down. Having room for our embodiment and dance journeys is also helpful. You’ll also need a small area for your altar space. Additional items include: a journal and pen, and bandanna/eye covering. You will also be receiving the Welcome Package with other items to support your journey

Will there be recordings of the sessions?

The nature of the apprenticeship program is experiential and community oriented. If you need to miss a lesson, I will make an audio recording available for you. That way you can catch up.

I have Zoom fatigue and am sometimes shy to share. Is it a requirement to always have my camera on?

Upon registration you’ll receive a Zoom protocol that is deeply rooted in Self-Care practices. As a neurodivergent person with sensory sensitivites, I have needed to create a protocol to prevent Zoom fatigue and not overwhelm myself. I provide many tips so you can best take care of yourself and still remain connected and engaged. Because this is a shared container, everyone (including you) brings wisdom that enriches the experience. Sharing insights and challenges also provides normalization and validation amongst our community which enhances our growth and learning. It is never a requirement that you share outside of your comfort zone and no one is ever forced to speak. You are always free to pass.

What if I have questions outside of the circle time?
I usually stay on the Zoom call to answer questions for 15mins afterwards . We will also have a Whatsapp group for questions, and you are welcome to send me an email.
